Pacific Tradewinds guests! Your lovely hostel manager Shelby happens to be an AMC Theatres stubs member, so you can enjoy a $5 movie! Yay! Ask reception for more details. Meet in the hostel common room at 2 p.m. Make sure to wear your rain gear for the walk there! Bring some cash if you'll want to buy popcorn, soda or other movie snacks.
Netflix is great and everything, but it's hard to beat watching a movie in the theatre. There's something about leaning back in your seat and inhaling that inimitable movie popcorn smell while watching your favorite actor on the big screen that everyone's favorite video streaming platform just can't compete with. Unfortunately, the movie theatre experience usually costs a whole heck of a lot more than it costs to watch old Friends reruns on your Uncle Jack's Netflix account. EXCEPT FOR, on Tuesday evenings, AMC Theatres Stubs members get to bring some friends and see a movie for a mere FIVE DOLLARS. It's also supposed to rain all day on Tuesday, so what better way to spend a rainy day?
