The California Academy of Sciences is the only museum in the world that combines an aquarium, planetarium and a natural history museum. It also has a living rainforest and hundreds of interactive exhibits. In case all that wasn’t awesome enough to draw you in, every Thursday night, they add alcohol into the mix. Once a week, Cal Academy hosts their "Nightlife" event from 6 p.m. until 10. During this event, you can check out the normal exhibits the museum offers - while dancing to DJs and drinking a beer or cocktail at pop-up bars inside the museum. I mean...what?! The theme of Nightlife changes depending on the week. Oh, and did we mention that Nightlife is also less than half the usual price of entering the museum? Prices range from $14 to $25 depending on the night. Note: the last entry to the rainforest is 7:45 p.m., and drinks aren't allowed inside the exhibit. Plan accordingly!
