Pacific Tradewinds guests, meet in the hostel common room at 10:30 a.m. and we will head over together! Bring cash for bus fare and if you're planning on buying food at the festival.
For the 39th year in a row, Bayview Senior Services will present a FREE Soul Food Festival with live music, vendor booths, and lots of soul food to try. Mac n' cheese, cornbread, catfish, and many more types of soul food will be available for purchase. There will also be a soul food cooking contest for intrepid aspiring chefs to show off their soul food cooking skills. Last year's Soul Food Festival saw more than 2,000 people, so come join the party! The event runs from 11 to 6.
