Located in Golden Gate Park, spanning for 55 acres, and known as one of the most diverse gardens in the world, the San Francisco Botanical Garden is home to more than 8,000 different plants from all different countries. Admission to the park usually costs $9 for visitors, but on the second Tuesday of every month, it's free all day long! Head to 1199 9th Avenue any time between 7:30 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon to learn about some new plants or just take a lovely garden stroll. Addtional fun fact: if you're a traveler who likes to get up early and soak up as much of the day as possible, the garden is free for visitors EVERY DAY between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m.! So, if you have other plans this Tuesday, but you're an early riser, come here any day of the week during your visit in San Francisco for free admission to the garden before 9 a.m.
