If you’re looking to add a little culture in your life, or at least on your travels, look no further than the San Francisco museum scene. There are a lot to choose from but the SFMOMA, The Museum of Modern Art, really takes the cake for many people. It was completely renovated recently and is packed to the brim with incredible exhibitions from around the world. It also regularly hold events and visiting artists. Admission can be pricey for backpackers ($19-$25) but all summer you can check it out for one hour FREE with a “Welcome to SFMOMA” free guided tour that will help you get a lay of the land (it’s 45,000 square feet!).
