If you’ve ever wanted to see the symphony but didn’t think you could afford it, now’s your chance! The SF Symphony Orchestra is opening their 2018-2019 season with a world premiere and it’s FREE! Though it is first-come, first-served so be sure to meet in the common room at time to join the hostel crew headed there. The concert is by Michael Gilbertson, a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Music in 2018. It also includes an interactive demonstration through Beethoven Symphony No 6, as well as a complete performance. This is a wonderful chance to explore culture on the cheap, so don’t miss it!
