This was actually my first hostel experience and I only hope that my future experiences will live up to this one. I was mostly at an academic conference and seeing some friends so I didn't have too much of an opportunity to mingle with the hostel folk, but the interactions I did have were warm and friendly. It was a comfortable sleeping environment and everything was kept pretty clean, as well! 5 Stars fo sho.

First time staying in a hostel and they made my stay very enjoyable. The facilities were very nice, and the hosts were friendly and inviting. I met a lot of cool people from all around the world here and I would recommend this place to any of my close friends.

Only stayed for one night but had a great time staying here. The location was ideal and the rooms and common areas were very well kept
Atmosphere was great, not only because of all the people, but the way everything is set up for everyone to share the moments! I was greeted by Ryan, who also gave me a SF map and told me about all the interesting places and recommended routes to enjoy SF at its best. Guests were all really cool people, and although I had a very busy calendar, I managed to share a few beers and conversation with a a few.
I used to stay at the Pacific Tradewinds hostel in San Francisco city during march 2013. It was a professional vacation that I was using to study business english at a English School to improve my english. The idea to stay at a hostel and not at all the sugestions that school gave me, was mainly because at a hostel I have the opportunity to practice English with much more people from different places and different english proeffieciency. It was amazing 25 days in San Francisco and for sure, airbnb helped me!

It's a good place to stay. The bed is so soft. And the people here are so nice they will give you suggestions for where to go in San Fran. The breakfast is good and a great location.
This was my first hostel experience. It was awesome! The hostel is very good and located in the center of the San Francisco. The staff is very polite and responsible. I met a lot of interesting people during my 8-days of staying there. I highly recommended this hostel to people who want to come to San Francisco, explore the city and have a great holidays =)
