Awesome hostel, great location and nice people. The Staff checked me in Wednesday, July 1st. She gave me an extended introduction about what to do in San Francisco and during my stay I met some amazing people in the hostel I hung out with. Bathrooms are small but clean and it is quite during the nights. You get clean towels for free and there is a large locker under the bed. Would definitely visit again!

This was my first time staying in a hostel. I live in the bay but needed somewhere affordable to stay for a class I was taking in the city. My experience was pleasant, convenient, and comfortable. Free Wifi! I love that the employees were very helpful and always enforced the rules to maintain a pleasant environment.
This was my first stay at a hostel and I was beyond satisfied. All of the staff and everyone else staying at the hostel were super friendly and made me feel welcomed. They gave me recommendations on what to do in the city and even invited me out with them when I had nothing to do. I would definitely stay here the next time I'm in San Fran!

In Pacific Tradewinds I am immediately felt at ease. It is very warmly welcomed and the people there are all mega friendly. It is a rather small but very social hostel. In the evening, many sitting in the common room and you can get very easily talk to each other. The kitchen is large and very well equipped. The location: perfect location to explore San Francisco and very importantly, it is in a safe area. You get from the staff also great tips which you can explore everything and where there are discounts. When I am back in San Francisco, I will stay there again
I found this hostel while searching through tripadvisor, and it lived up to the highly rated reviews! Most of the people staying there (myself included) are in their 20s, and everyone is super friendly and helpful. It is very clean and comfortable, and the staff are phenomenal. They have great insights and advice into the city, and are overall friendly and super helpful! We only stayed for 4 nights, but I wish we could have stayed longer!

Location can't be beat. If you are traveling light and without a car, this is the place. Lots of nice little features - bunks that don't creak and up against the wall so stuff doesn't fall down in the gap. If you need absolute silence to sleep, you won't sleep a wink- then again, why would you book a place in the middle of the city if you wanted peace and quiet?
