Very clean and friendly hostel, was a short walking distance to my conference. The whole building is super safe and conveniently located with 24 hour access. Enjoyed meeting some interesting travelers and staff here. Would stay here again.

I stayed for three nights and heard that it is the most popular hostel in SF... and it proves to be a great experience indeed. You get to know cool people from all over the world even you just stay for a short time. Staff are super nice. You will be given helpful tips on city navigation on the first day you arrive. Very helpful for first time visitor. The space is very clean especially the bathroom area. Really appreciate that. Thank you Ashley, Ryan and Henry!! You've been very helpful. I had a great stay with Darren & Friends! The place is nice, the people are friendly and I felt really welcome here. The hostel is very centrally located, so all the interesting places are close by. If you are looking for a hostel in San Francisco, this is definitely the place to go to!

This was my first time staying in a hostel and I was blown away by the community. The staff is freaking hilarious, intelligent, and all around kind people. They're willing to go to far lengths to help you have the best time possible and treat you like friends instead of guests. Courtney, Ryan, Henry, Louis, Ashley: you all are amazing, talented people - thanks for taking me in like a family and having my first hostel experience be a great one. You guys all rock!
