I had a fantastic time here, I felt so welcomed... Was like walking into a second home! Would deffinitely recommend this place for those traveling alone, and wanting to meet people from around the world to explore the city with.
I loved this place. The location is fantastic, close to tons of beautiful places in SF, you can get there from the Int. Airport for 11 bugs by the BART. Everything is clean and in good shape, everything works perfect. They have an amazing staff, always happy to help you, always willing to guide you, the make everything they can for you so you can fill at home always with a true smile for you. This people rocks! The Hostel is always full interesting people from all over the world and there is a safe and respectful spirit in everyone.
I wish I could be back, just for few seconds...
Great hostel and completely as advertised. Nice clean place in a great location in San Francisco. Expect to have friendly conversation regularly in the common area. You'll probably end up getting to sleep later than you expected.
This was my first hostile experience, and I couldn't have asked for a better one. The vibrancy and cordiality of the Pacific Tradewinds team is off the roof! I was very lucky to have found this place, especially for New Year's Eve. Of course, everyone partied then, but there was also a good balance of quiet time as well. When I first arrived on the 30th, I had many places in mind to start but wanted to get a personal opinion. Avi and Stefan gave me a map and were even more kind to circle hotspots.
Perfect location, it's ideal if you want to visit the city. You're at a 5 min walk from everything (market street, chinatown, financial district). I've met a lot of interesting people and there's a lot of convo going on in the meeting room so you're sure to spend a good time if you're travelling alone.
Great hostel, superb hosts and the location was awesome. I'm making a 7 week trip through the USA with San Francisco as both my first and my last location, and I hope I have enough time at the end of my trip to get back to the Pacific Tradewinds hostel. Highly recommended!
Très propre et tranquille. Possibilité de faire ses repas sur place, grande salle commune et très bon service à la clientèle. Personnel dévoué et vraiment très bien situé. Je recommande!
I was actually out for most of my time there, and I didn't even get to sleep on my bed, but the people at Pacific Tradewinds were simply awesome, and that includes the guests as well! The environment is very welcoming, and everyone is just super duper friendly. If I could have stayed a couple more days, I would have loved to have spent some more time with them. The location is excellent, and the neighbourhood feels very safe. Definitely staying there again next time I'm in SF!
Clean dorms, restrooms and shower rooms. The guys running the hostel are really nice and welcoming! There are also iMacs available for internet.
